Terms of Service

Version 2026-10-08, in force from 8 October 2026

Grablet is for saving media you have the right to save. You are responsible for what you save and how you use it. The rest of this page says what that means, what Pro costs and how to cancel it, and what we promise in return.

Who we are

Grablet is published by MYLABS AI SOLUTIONS (OPC) PRIVATE LIMITED, Puducherry, India. In these terms, “we” and “us” mean that company, and “you” means the person using Grablet.

You can reach us at support@grablet.app. We read everything.

Accepting these terms

These terms apply when you install or use Grablet, and when you buy Grablet Pro. Grablet also shows a short notice at the top of its popup and side panel, with a link to this page; pressing Accept there confirms that you have read them and agree. The notice does not stop anything: saving works whether you press it or not, and closing it hides it until the popup or side panel next opens.

When you press Accept, the extension stores the version you accepted and the time, on your device. Nothing is sent to us, and we keep no record of who has accepted.

The notice is a short summary, in your language where Grablet has a translation and in English otherwise. This page is the full text, in English, and it is the one that applies.

You must be 13 or older to use Grablet. To buy Pro you must be 18 or older, or have the consent of a parent or guardian where the law allows it.

What Grablet is

Grablet is a browser extension for desktop Chrome, Microsoft Edge and Firefox, and for Firefox for Android. It saves media to your device, from the website’s own servers or, when you record a tab, from what plays in it; what you save never passes through us. There are four ways to save, the last three on desktop only (Firefox for Android has no right-click menu, no batch download and no tab recording; recording is Chrome and Edge only):

Grablet does not crawl a profile or a whole site on its own: it saves what you point it at, and it reaches nothing you could not view yourself.

Using Grablet lawfully

Grablet is for saving media you have the right to save: your own uploads, material you are licensed to use, or content whose terms allow it. You are responsible for what you save and how you use it. In particular:

Grablet refuses YouTube, and the DRM-protected services on its built-in list, such as Netflix, Spotify and Disney+, by design and in every browser; no setting unlocks those refusals. On any site, it never breaks DRM systems such as Widevine, PlayReady or FairPlay. The full reasoning is here.

Your data

The Privacy Policy says what Grablet does with data, which is very little, and what we hold if you email us or buy Pro. These terms do not change it.

Your library, your settings and everything else Grablet stores live in your browser. Settings travel between your devices with your browser’s own sync, if you use it, and with cloud saves (Pro) a copy of your library, without your highlights or your private bookmarks, sits as a file in your own cloud folder. We hold no copy of any of it, so we cannot restore it. Removing Grablet or clearing your browser’s data deletes what is on that device, and if you set a password for Private Bookmarks, we cannot recover it or the bookmarks it protects. Export anything that matters to you, and keep the copy somewhere safe.

Free, the trial and Pro

Grablet is free, with no account and no watermarks. Saving the files a site serves is unlimited. The Pro page lists what Free and Pro each include, and nothing in its Free column ever becomes paid. One thing there is free for now: assembling streams, and joining picture and sound served apart, is unlimited for everyone through 9 March 2027 (by your device’s date), and from then on Free includes three of those saves a day, as that column says. Grablet Pro adds capability on top of Free.

The trial

Every new install starts with a Pro trial, with no key and nothing to cancel. An install made on or before 9 March 2027 (by UTC) gets 90 days, and keeps them; a later install gets 30. When the trial ends, Grablet goes back to Free.

Price and renewal

Pro is ₹999 a year in India and US$12 a year everywhere else, as a subscription; the checkout shows the one for where you are. Stripe takes the payment on its own checkout page, and we never see your card details; Stripe’s privacy policy covers what Stripe collects.

The subscription renews automatically once a year until you cancel it, and each renewal emails you a fresh key to paste over the old one. Grablet’s Pro panel and Settings show the date your key runs to, and from two weeks before it they say so and remind you that the renewal brings a new key by email. You do not need to buy again; buying again would start a second subscription.

Cancelling and refunds

To cancel, email support@grablet.app. Write from the address you used at checkout, or from any address if you tell us which purchase it is: the receipt number in Stripe’s email, or the date and the last four digits of the card. There is no cancel button yet; the email is the whole process. Cancelling takes effect at the end of the paid year, and Pro keeps working until then.

Refunds: a full refund on request within 14 days of any charge, the first one or a renewal. Email support@grablet.app the same way.

None of this limits any right to cancel, or to a refund, that the law where you live gives you.

Lifetime keys

Lifetime keys bought before 6 September 2026 never renew and never expire. Nothing is charged for them again.

Your licence key

Pro is unlocked with a licence key, and there is no account. Grablet verifies the key on your own device, and compares it there with a public list of revoked keys, as the Privacy Policy describes. One key covers one person’s own browsers and devices, in Chrome, Edge and Firefox alike.

Keep your key to yourself. Do not post it, sell it or hand it around. We may revoke a key that was issued in error, whose payment was refunded or reversed, or that has been posted publicly, resold or shared beyond one person; this applies to lifetime keys too. Grablet then stops accepting it, and everything free keeps working. If you bought a key and Grablet says it has been revoked, write to support@grablet.app.

Services run by others

Grablet works with services we do not run. Each comes under its own terms, which are between you and that service:

We are not responsible for these services. If one changes or stops working, the feature that uses it may stop working too.

Grablet itself

Grablet, its name and its code belong to us, and all rights are reserved; Grablet is not open source. We give you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to install and use it as these terms describe. It ends as described under Ending these terms.

Do not sell, rent, redistribute or republish Grablet, or a changed copy of it. Do not change it to get around its refusals or its licence check. Do not reverse-engineer, decompile or disassemble it, except where the law gives you that right regardless of these terms.

Grablet includes open-source components, listed on Licences. Each comes under its own licence, and nothing in these terms limits what that licence allows you. In particular, the MP3 encoder comes under the LGPL: you may replace it with a version of your own, and reverse-engineer Grablet as far as needed to debug that change.

What we promise, and what we cannot

We work to keep Grablet working, and we fix what breaks; the changelog shows it. But websites change how they deliver media without warning, and any site can stop working in Grablet at any time. Grablet is provided as it is. We do not promise that it will work on any particular site, keep working on it, or be free of errors. Evidence mode records where and when a file was saved; whether a court accepts that record is not something any tool can promise.

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, for the loss of data kept on your device that a backup would have prevented, or for loss caused by what you save or how you use it. Where we are liable, our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us for Grablet Pro in the twelve months before the claim, or, for a lifetime key, the price you paid for it, whichever is more. None of this limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for gross negligence or wilful misconduct.

Nothing in these terms excludes or limits any liability that the law does not allow to be excluded or limited, or takes away rights you have as a consumer where you live.

Changes

We change Grablet often, because the sites it works with change. We may add, change or remove features, and we may change these terms. Neither will break the promises made on the Pro page: nothing in its Free column becomes paid, a trial already running is never shortened, and a lifetime key bought before 6 September 2026 never expires. The Pro features you have paid for stay until the end of the year you paid for, and a new price applies only from your next renewal, after we email you at least 30 days before it.

Each version of these terms is dated, and the top of this page shows the version and the date it is in force from. A change that matters to you is posted here at least 30 days before it is in force, alongside the version it replaces; Grablet shows its notice again and asks you to accept the new version, and we email Pro subscribers. If you do not agree to a change, you can stop using Grablet at any time by removing it and, if you have Pro, cancel it as described above.

Ending these terms

You can stop at any time by removing Grablet; if you have Pro, cancel it as described above so that it does not renew.

If you break these terms, for example by sharing your key or using Grablet to break the law, we may revoke your key, which ends Pro; everything free keeps working, and we stop any renewal so nothing more is charged. If we ever stop offering Grablet Pro, we will say so here and by email to subscribers, stop renewals, and refund the unused part of any paid year.

What these terms say about using Grablet lawfully, about what we promise and cannot, and about what happens if something goes wrong still applies after they end.

The rest

These terms, with the promises on the Pro page, are the whole agreement between you and us about Grablet. If the two ever differ, the one more favourable to you applies. If a court finds part of these terms unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we do not enforce something straight away, we have not given it up. You may not transfer these terms to someone else; we may transfer them to whoever takes over Grablet, without reducing your rights under them.

If something goes wrong

We are a company registered in Puducherry, India. If something goes wrong, write to us first at support@grablet.app, and we will try to put it right. Nothing in these terms takes away the protection that the consumer law of the country you live in gives you.
