No, and it never will. Chrome Web Store policy prohibits downloading from YouTube, so YouTube is blocked in Grablet's code. Any extension offering it risks removal.

No. Those services use DRM, and circumventing it is illegal in most countries. Grablet blocks them deliberately and there is no setting to change that.

Yes, on the sites Grablet supports. It works with what your own browser has already loaded in your own session, so anything you can see, it can generally save. It never accesses anything you couldn't view yourself.

Those are HLS or DASH streams, delivered as hundreds of small fragments — sometimes with audio and video kept separate — that must be reassembled into a playable file. Grablet is building that in, and it will run entirely in your browser, with no companion app to install.

Into your browser's normal Downloads folder, inside a Grablet folder, organised by website — so Instagram saves land in Downloads / Grablet / instagram.com.

Media can appear on any website, so Grablet has to be able to notice it on the page you're viewing. It only observes what the page already loaded, never fetches anything on its own, and sends nothing anywhere. See the privacy policy.
